Santa Pola

Santa Pola used to be a fishing village, now known as a popular seaside resort in Southern Costa Blanca in Spain. The attraction of this town is its closeness to Alicante airport and its Costa Blanca climate.

Santa Pola is a working town, usually busy in the winter season, when few tourist resorts are open. Of course, in the summer it is filled with Spanish tourists, you won't find many English restaurants and bars, they are located more in the south.

How to get here?

The road access to the town is very good. The AP-7 motorway runs straight from Alicante airport which is only 15 minutes away. There is also an easy access to Murcia San Javier airport.

When you are at the airport, you can get to the town by a private bus, a taxi or a hired car. The road N-332 goes by the outskirts of Santa Pola and it also goes from Alicante airport in the north to San Javier Murcia airport in the south. To the south of Santa Pola La Marina there is Guardamar del Segura and Torrevieja. To the north, there is Alicante.
