How to get to Playa Flamenca

From Alicante airport you can get here on the N332 road in the direction of Cartagena. The journey on this road lasts for about 35 minutes (44 km) when you drive at normal speed. You will pass by Santa Pola, La Marina, Guardamar, La Mata, Torrevieja and Punta Prima. You will pass a small roundabout and take the first turning right when you see Playa Flamenca signpost. The easiest way is to get to Playa Flamenca from Alicante or Murcia airport to the south. At the airport you will be able to choose from a private bus, a taxi or a car hire to get to your destination.

What to do in Playa Flamenca

You can practise different watersports here. At a few locations on the beach, it is possible to hire sports equipment starting from hiring a boat for a trip to Tabarca, through fishing and ending with horse riding. In your free time you can go shopping. The town has a well-known Saturday market where you can easily get from your villa. Playa Flamenca is a quiet, non-commercial place, at the same time near to all holiday facilities such as blue flag beaches, golf courses, tennis courts, aqua parks or gokarting tracks. It is ten minutes walk from a large shopping complex, seven restaurants and five bars serving international dishes. There are also sports bars and karaoke bars where you can enjoy live performances.

Torrevieja is only 10 minutes drive away and it it a beautiful city, famous for its marina, waterfront market, street entertainment, shops and numerous cafes, restaurants and bars and a beautiful church square. The promenade and the marina are a great place for an evening walk. The time spent here can be filled with such attractions as tennis, watersports, horse riding or fishing.

Saturday is a market day, where you can buy clothes, bags, shoes, fruit and vegetables and freshly cooked chickens, paellas and tortiillas. The market is located on the main road running through the city and it is very often visited.
