Mil Palmeras

Mil Palmeras Mil Palmeras is a small seaside resort situated by the N332 and AP7 roads. It is located between Dehesa Campoamor and Torre de la Horadada on the Orihuela coast in southern Costa Blanca. Mil Palmeras literally means "a thousand palms" and it is a quiet town which comes to life in the summer. When you book your plane tickets, it is best to choose Alicante or Murcia as your destination. From Alicante airport you will get here in 40 minutes and from Murcia it is 15 minutes drive to get to your villa, hotel or apartment. At the airport different means of transport are available. You can choose from private buses, taxis or car hire. A taxi ride from Alicante to Mil Palmeras will cost about 90 euro.

In Mil Palmeras there is a thing known as a "strip", where you can eat out. The Olympia bar and restaurant in Mil Palmeras is very popular and has got a pool where you can relax in the afternoon. The town is famous for clean sandy beaches and clean water and it is a typical Spanish resort. You will find all kinds of facilities here, such as sun loungers, sun shades, jet skis, volleyball courts, showers or toilets. The beach in Mil Palmeras is definitely one of the best beaches on the Orihuela coastline with clean sand and the Mediterranean Sea water. Popular with tourists and locals is the easy access to the coast via the N332 road between Dehesa de Campoamor and Pilar de la Horadada ( follow directions for Riomar).

When the weather is sunny (which is normal here) it is best to go to the beach and Mil Palmeras beach should be on the top of the list of beaches worth visiting.
